Michael G. Chasteen

	Michael G. Chasteen, 34, Lewistown, passed away at 3:20 p.m. Monday, January 26, 2004 at his home.
	Mr. Chasteen was a self-employed Carpenter in the Fulton County area.  He was active in softball leagues in Canton and Lewistown.  He was a member of the Monterey United Methodist Church.
	Mr. Chasteen was born August 14, 1969 in Canton, the son of Harold and Jeanne (Wooddell) Chasteen.  
	Surviving are one son, Chase Alexander; four daughters, Kaylie Brooke, Jordyn Michelle and Taylor Nicole and Emerald Chasteen-Hoffard of Du Quoin; his mother, Jeanne (Ed M.) Riley of Lewistown; his father, Harold (Christine) Chasteen of Lewistown; brothers, Mark A. (Tina) Wooddell of Lewistown and Martin R. Chasteen of Lewistown; step-brother, Joseph Almasi of Davenport, Iowa; step-sister, Angela Almasi of Davenport, Iowa and a nephew, Trenton Eugene Chasteen.
	He was preceded in death by a brother.
	Funeral services were Friday, January 30 at 11 a.m. at Oaks-Hines Funeral Home in Canton with Rev. Rusty Beals officiating.  Interment was in White Chapel Memory Gardens in Canton.
	Friends called Thursday from 5 to 8 p.m. at Oaks-Hines Funeral Home in Canton.
	Memorials may be made to the family c/o Mid America National Bank or St. Judes Midwest.
